I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah.

Hayya 'alas salah

Come to prayer.

Hayya 'alas salah

Come to prayer.

Hayya 'alal falah

Allah is the Greatest. Allah is the Greatest.

Listen to the Adhan

In the Adhan of Fajr, after Hayya 'alal falah add Assalatu khayrum minan naum. Assalatu khayrum minan naum.

Salah is better than sleep. Salah is better than sleep.

During adhan and iqama, turn your face to the right on Hayya 'alas salah and on Hayya 'alal falah to your left.

On completion of the Adhan, Muslims are recommended to recite:

Dua after Azaan

O Allah! Lord of this complete call and prayer of ours, by the blessing of it. Give to Muhammad his eternal rights of intercession, distinction and highest class (in Paradise) and raise him to the promised rank You have promised him. Bestow his intercession on us on the Day of Judgement. Surely You never go back on your word.

Iqamah:

After Adhan when the Muslims are assembled at the place of worship, a second call (Iqamah) is recited by one of the group. This signals the start of the congregational Salah. It is similar to Adhan except that it is recited faster without pauses, but in a lower voice (not so low that the people there cannot hear) and after Hayya 'alal falahHayya 'alal falah Say
Qad qamatis salah. Qad qamatis salah. Qad qamatis salah. Qad qamatis salah.

The prayer has begun. The prayer has begun.

NOTE: During Iqama do not put your fingers in your ears and do not not put your hands on your ears.

Allah subhanwata'ala knows best.
